Dr. Amina’s Guide

Why am I writing this series?

For a long time, we may have accepted changes and discomfort in women's bodies as simply something we have to live with.

Changing periods, uncertainty about fertility, changes during pregnancy and after birth, menopause symptoms, intimate discomfort, and pelvic floor concerns.

These issues deeply affect everyday life, yet it can be hard to talk about them or find reliable information.

Dr. Amina’s Guide explains these changes and concerns through the perspectives of healthcare, health systems, self-care, and technology.

Our aim is to help you understand your body, seek support when you need it, and find options that suit you, without creating unnecessary anxiety.

We hope this series helps make caring for your body and navigating daily life a little easier.
